I tell stories with landscapes
My camera and I are inseparable. I have loved landscape photography for over 10 years and would love to be out in nature every day. I like it best when it's atmospheric and a little uncomfortable: Icelandic waterfalls, Swedish forests, or cloud-covered mountains in the Alps.

I want my photos to tell stories and inspire reflection. I find the relationship between humans and nature particularly interesting. A lonely house in the vast Icelandic landscape or a tiny person in front of a waterfall are exactly my thing. A cloudless sky in summer is rather rare in my photography. For me, autumn is the most beautiful time of year, when the sun breaks through the thick clouds or it is foggy. I try to capture this atmosphere.
I am 32 years old, live near Frankfurt right next to the Taunus mountains, and work as a marketing manager in the IT industry. I have a master's degree in Scandinavian studies and, after various stays abroad and vacations, I have fallen in love with the far north in particular. Since 2020, I have also been a freelance photographer and videographer.
I use a full frame camera, namely the Panasonic Lumix S5 II primarily with the two lenses Lumix S 24-105 mm F4 and the Lumix S 70-300 mm F4.5-5.6. These lenses are great for landscapes. If I don't want to bring that much equipment, I use a Panasonic Lumix S9 with the Sigma 45 mm F2.8 lens. However, for the majory of my photography career I was an avid user of smaller form factor Micro Four Thirds cameras and lenses, my last camera being the Panasonic Lumix G9.

Mit meinen Fotos möchte ich Geschichten erzählen und zum Nachdenken anregen. Das Verhältnis von Mensch und Natur finde ich besonders interessant. Ein einsames Haus in der weiten Landschaft Islands oder ein winziger Mensch vor einem Wasserfall sind genau mein Ding. Ein wolkenloser Himmel im Sommer ist in meiner Fotografie dabei eher die Seltenheit. Am schönsten ist es für mich im Herbst, wenn die Sonne durch die dichten Wolken bricht oder es neblig ist. Diese Atmosphäre versuche ich einzufangen.

Diese Objektive sind perfekt geeignet für Landschaftsaufnahmen. Allerdings war ich die meiste Zeit meiner fotografischen Karriere begeisterter Nutzer von Kameras und Objektiven im kleineren Micro-Four-Thirds-Format, wobei meine letzte Kamera die Panasonic Lumix G9 war.
